We are the antagonist to physician, hospital, and corporately owned for-profit centers, that have driven utilization to significant heights, and delivered mediocre outcomes at best. Our niche is to provide the highest quality service, at the appropriate time, to achieve optimal results and satisfaction. No other providers in the system are more well equipped to do this for neuro-musculoskeletal conditions than private practice PT's. That being said, some of our biggest hurdles include a large number of apathetic therapists that complain a lot about payments and paperwork, but do little, if anything, to help remedy the situation. We fight third party payors over documentation, authorizations, clinical decision making, and payments. We fight POPTS and HOPTS over ethical choices and referrals for profit. We fight staffing issues with a lack of qualified graduates, along with the typical daily juggling of owning and running a private enterprise in today's challenging economic environment. Quadruple aim healthcare is the focus; improve outcomes, lower costs, improve patient experiences, and increase healthcare workers satisfaction. All things that have been, and continue to be represented by many of today's entrepreneurial Physical Therapists.
